Haydar Ulus
Founder & CEO, Ulus Group
Haydar Ulus is a distinguished entrepreneur, public leader, and strategist with over 25 years of experience across international finance, fintech, energy, infrastructure, and government advisory.
As the Founder and CEO of Ulus Group, established in 2006, he has led and executed client transactions exceeding £2 billion across finance, technology, and real estate sectors. Haydar is also a founding partner of Payment Card Technologies, which setup multiple fintech clients achieving billions in transaction volume in Europe through strategic partnerships with Visa and Mastercard.
In the fintech sector, he advanced innovation through Swipe Ltd, developing pioneering compensation and payment solutions for the aviation industry. Through Ulus Finance Ltd, he has structured and managed over hundreds of millions in mortgage finance, while Ulus Property Holding holds an extensive real estate portfolio under his direction.
Beyond business, Haydar has served as a Councillor and advisor to multiple local authorities in the UK and Turkey, where he championed community and enterprise development. He has also played a key role in the House of Commons and the European Union, establishing and supporting several cross-party and all-party parliamentary groups dedicated to advancing the business, finance, and community sectors.
Internationally, he has advised Eastern European Governments and many governments in the MENA region on the establishment of digital banking systems, national gold and commodity exchanges, bridging public and private sectors to stimulate economic growth.
Academically, Haydar holds a Master's in Investment Management from City University and a Bachelor's in Economics and Management from Middlesex University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (ICPA, UK) and holds many other sectoral recognitions.
